Role
- Bring warmth, joy, and care to the program
- Supervise and actively engage children with warmth and care
- Support daily routines (arrival, circle time, small & large group activities, meals, diapering/toileting, rest, transitions, departure)
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Help plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities
- Observe and document children’s learning and behavior
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Assist with record-keeping, compliance, and inspections
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma + 2 years’ experience with young children
- Ability to complete fingerprint and pass a background check with the Department of Health
- Valid Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Ability to take walk, kneel, bend, squat or crawl and lift 40 lbs
